as well . Yes , people congratulate on those occasions - but not nearly as much . True , we want to comfort those in pain , and it does help . The point is , painful postings grab more attention to an audience than joyful postings . Life has both joy and pain . It would be nice to have joy prevail .
Do the posts you make really reflect your true self ? Are you honestly being YOU ? It can be you in that very moment that you ’ re posting , but we are so fluid with our emotions , is that you reflecting you or just your emotion at that time ? Remember , when you do post , it ’ s there forever .
It feels as though we are making our online posts so personal as though we ’ re talking to our best friend . Would you really want your personal conversations with your best friend plastered all over the Internet ?
I know that when I go online to check out what ’ s going on , what I think will take a minute ends up easily being an hour . Depending on where I look and what I look at could easily affect how I feel . I could be on an emotional rollercoaster without even realizing it ! Yet I do it all the time . It is addicting . There is a saying “ it is a blessing and a curse ”.
My wish for myself and for everyone else is to find the blessing in every curse .
We learn from everything . I know from all the teachings that have influenced me that we are here to grow and everything we experience is an opportunity . Be mindful when you go online . There are so many opportunities to learn from what we are reading . Be in charge of the choices that you make . Be in charge of your time . Avoid going on somebody else ’ s journey . Make choices that make sense and take you where you really want to go . Looking forward to having our paths cross soon and in person !
