“ beautiful prop . Her hands are

A dancer ’ s arms are her ornament and her most
her brushes and she uses them to paint and create the most beautiful and unique work of art around her body .

This book was a delight to read . It includes basic dance techniques that can be included in the first two years of instruction . Notes are included on how to adjust the moves based on what type of “ oriental dance ” you want to focus on … be it cabaret , tribal , or some combination thereof .
The book is beautifully designed with touches of oriental richness . The chapters are broken down into basic starting position and breathing , areas of the body , and a proposed lesson plan with the curriculum broken down by year . Each chapter includes exercises , tips , figure drawings with movement paths , and suggestions for teachers for moves that students may find challenging . www . natasakocar . eu / 1001-moves October 2020 The Belly Dance Chronicles 75
