I am excited and appreciative to contribute the story of the Athenian Corner Restaurant to The Belly Dance Chronicles Magazine ! This article is about the history of the restaurant from its very beginning as a “ dream ” into its current “ being a dream destination ”.
I have been thoroughly enjoying attending the Athenian Corner several times each month for many years ! I have known all the musicians who entertain there for many years , some of them having played at my own Haflas ! It has been wonderful to have met the founders , Stavros and Alexandra , and I would spend time at each visit chatting with them at “ their table ”. Likewise , I have come to know their son Ted and daughter Thea who operate the restaurant .
