Yalayna worked with Melissa Skomer-Kafton and JoJo to put together a fun hafla at a great venue with some additional assistance from Nefabit and Nizana . The Shriners Event Center offered plenty of room for the vendors to spread out , a huge dressing room , and JoJo provided a nice sound system , which all made for a good time . The vendors were offering plenty of good deals , and even some freebies ! I saw skirts , wings , jewelry , fan veils and all kinds of tempting goodies .
Dancing was by local and regional dancers , with Nizana as the guest of honor , and different styles were represented including folkloric , various types of fusion , and American style belly dance . Nefabit ’ s troupe was well represented , and there was also a duet , a fusion troupe and a number of soloists . The audience was appreciative and fun to dance for and all seemed to have a good time ! Nizana was happy to get to dance with her Washington State dance sisters again !

NIZANA Nizana has been instructing , performing , studying , choreographing , troupe directing , event producing and otherwise being engaged in the Florida ( where she resides ), Washington ( State ), Hawaii , and Bay Area California dance communities .
