I’m going to share with you 5 ways that make I people
feel important in dance classes and what it means to me.
1. Eye Contact - I feel it is important for me
to make eye contact with all of my students;
some of my students are in wheel chairs or
have to sit down and I make sure to make eye
contact while I sit with them or kneel to talk
with them.
2. Ask questions - I am curious about who
they are and what they have to say. Some of
my students have disabilities, dementia, or
