My name is Lauren Perry, I am 34 years old and I run Perrywinkle Photography. I started off as a child and family photographer, but I actually specialize in weddings and couples, as well as head shots and boudoir. I had a full-ride athletic scholarship and played softball at BYU, where I graduated with a degree in communications with an emphasis on marketing. I was born and raised in California, but I married my husband while at BYU, and we built and raised our family here in Utah. We live in South Jordan.
I have a passion for cooking and being the best wife and mom I can be. Photography helped fill my creative side when I graduated and stepped away from softball (which had been my whole life for 20 years at the time).
When I had my first kiddo, I fell in love with taking pictures. From there I started taking pics of family and friends for practice. I then traveled around the country going to workshops in order to really develop as a photographer. I fell into book covers because I LOVE capturing romance and emotions. I am a natural light photographer who favors beautiful backlighting.
