This month we celebrate our independence. freedom was not simply handed over, it was fought for, bled for, sought after by the very hearts and souls that built our country many years ago...may we remember their sacrifice and those that continue to fight for the freedoms and rights we share as americans. god bless the USA!
July is all about Summer BBQ's, family gatherings, pool parties and camping trips.
We wanted to include articles, recipes, and fun to help you make the most of your Summer.
This month we had the opportunity to feature the incredibly talented, Aaliyah Rose. This young lady sparkles as she enters the room. She has a deep connection to music and there is no denying that music is very much a part of who she is.
We were spoiled with her gift as she gave an incredible performance for our team as she sang, 'God Bless America.' She has a powerful voice for a young lady who has just turned 15. It was such an honor to spend the day on set with her and her mom.
One of the great moments of her cover shoot was when our Head Photographer, Shaun Anders, had the idea to have Aaliyah on the rooftops in Provo chewing bubble gum. It was an awesome shot. For those of you that know Aaliyah, you know that she is a Provo native. I am always so impressed with our team and how spontaneous they can be to make a quick idea work. Job well done guys! That was one of my favorite photos of the day. The unplanned ones usually are.
I know I've said this before, but it definitely is worth restating, that I have the best team of talent anywhere. Seriously.
Karen Erekson, of Ashtyn Jade Productions, has surpassed any position or title we could bestow upon her. For technical terms she is our producer, but what she does is so much more than that. This woman has a heart of gold and truly believes in our message and mission. She goes all out, on every project, and we are blessed to have her share her wonder woman powers with us!
