I believe in abstinence until marriage . If you get your Christmas present in July , would you still be excited about it by December ?
I believe in the sacredness of the marriage vows .
I believe in faithfulness to God , my husband and children .
I believe in unconditional love everyone does not fit the profile of what I consider to be an average person so love them for what they are on the inside not what they look like on the outside .
I believe in loving the unlovable . Some people you can ' t keep from loving ; others you have to learn to love . Work at it . If God loves everyone , why shouldn ' t we do the same ? Isn ' t that what He said -not to just love those who love us -anyone can do that !
I believe in honesty and integrity . I believe a person ' s word should be as good as any written contract . Deals used to be sealed with a handshake .
I believe in doing to others as I would have them do unto me .
I believe respect has to be earned- that it is not a gift .
I believe children are a precious gift from God .
I believe that there comes a time when children need to

be pushed out of the nest -to be let go and learn to stand on their own two feet . Cut the apron strings -don ' t just let them ravel out .
I believe that getting what you need and what you want are two different things .
I believe material possessions can never replace quality time spent with your family .
I believe children do not always turn out the way we expect them to . Maybe it ' s because we tried too hard to pound a square peg into a round hole .
I believe in the old-fashioned family unit , back when there were no alternative lifestyles .
I believe life begins at conception .
I believe that if I am spending my money at a place of business , I deserve good service .
I believe that people who work at a business should have knowledge about the product they are selling .
I believe in being courageous enough to take a stand against things you know for sure are wrong .
I believe in generosity . Everything we have is God ' s gift to us so why shouldn ' t we share it ?
I believe in the value of a dollar -worked for -earned honestly and not to be spent frivolously .
I believe excuses are just a poor explanation for bad decisions .
I believe in the value of time -it too is not to be spent frivolously . Yesterday is history -tomorrow is a mystery -today ' s a gift . That is why it is called the present .
I believe age is a matter of heart and mind . The only alternative to growing old is to die young . I ' ve waited too late for that .
I believe if those we love want our help , they should ask for it . Don ' t just volunteer .
I believe there ' s not a good excuse for laziness .

I believe hard work never killed anyone . Better to wear out than to rust out .
I believe if people want our advice , they will ask for it , even though they usually don ' t follow it after we have given it !
I believe in God ' s Divine Intervention . Some situations cannot be explained any other way .
I believe God gives each of us different gifts and that we should use them to His glory . If you don ' t use them , you will lose them .
I believe in hospitality . Sharing your home with those who need a place to stay has tremendous rewards . I believe it pays a hundredfold .
I believe good friends are worth their weight in gold .
I believe in learning from our mistakes . They can be valuable lessons .
I believe that neglect and procrastination are not good qualities and may be a sign of laziness .
I believe that if you have a problem with someone , you should do everything in your power to correct it and work it out . Mend your fences !
I believe the past is past you can ' t go back and you can ' t change it .
I believe the best thing to do is put those things behind you and try to make the future better .
I believe in truth being true to yourself-true to those you love -true to Jesus our Savior who died for us .
I believe in forgiveness . If we can ' t forgive each other , will God forgive us ?
I believe in straight answers -just beating around the bush and then wondering what they really said -or even worse , changing the subject .
I believe in celebrations . What better way to acknowledge life ' s accomplishments than with a party !
I believe in birthday parties . I love to have a party . Each year is a gift -another chance to do something we never got

done before .
I believe in giving people flowers while they are living -not after they are gone .
I believe in real compliments given from the heart with sincerity and love .
I believe in a helping handgiving or receiving .
I believe in taking orders as well as giving them . Submit yourself to authority .
I believe in not making rash decisions . Take time to think things through . Some things can ’ t be changed once you ’ ve decided on the wrong choice . I believe common sense is as valuable as knowledge . Wisdom is greater than both .
I believe I haven ’ t always made the right choices and decisions , but when I said " Yes " to Jesse Smith on April 18 , 1947 , it was the wisest , best decision and choice I could have ever have made .
I believe it ’ s not what you have that counts ; it ’ s what you do with it that makes the difference .
I believe there is a difference between want and need .
I believe a house should be clean and sanitary .
I believe if you have good , loyal friends , you are richly blessed .
I believe anyone can own a house , but it takes love to make a home .
I believe if life gives you a challenge , it may be a test of your strength and endurance .
I believe if we never had problems , we would never appreciate our blessings .
I believe if we had the opportunity to trade our trials and tribulations with someone else , we would keep what we have .
I believe there is a difference between helping and enabling .
I believe life could still be simple if we would just let it . I believe everyone has a purpose in life . If you haven ' t found yours , you need to look for it .
I believe “ customer service " should be more than a recording .
I believe that old age is not for sissies .
I believe an unplanned event can be the most enjoyable .

I believe the deeds we do in secret bring the greatest rewards .
I believe that loving your baby does not spoil them .
I believe that facing adversities gives us strength .
I believe if we never had cloudy days we wouldn ' t appreciate the sunshine .
I believe a house becomes a home when it is filled with love .
I believe we should be thankful for some unanswered prayers .
I believe husbands and wives should make time for each other so that when the kids are gone , you won ' t be strangers .
I believe there is a time and a place for everything .
I believe that sometimes we can be our own worst enemy .
I believe that older people are the salt of the earth .
I believe the words , " at your age " and " because of your age " should be banned from the English language .
I believe being born into a world without modem conveniences was good for me .
I believe that learning to make do and do without is one of life ' s greatest lessons .
I believe that showering children with " material things " can never take the place of our time and love .
I believe that money cannot buy love and happiness .
I believe that a smile and kindness are the best gifts we can give and they ' re free .
I believe you should never stop learning . Challenge yourself .
Last but not least by far -I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and when I accepted Him as my Savior and was immersed into the waters of baptism , it was not only the most important choice of my life but if I remain faithful and keep His Word , I will receive my greatest reward of all-the Crown of Eternal Life in Heaven .
Finally , I have to admit I didn ' t learn all these things over night and I still struggle with many of them , but these are the things I believe to be true and will make life more worth living .
