Chamber Honors
Members
The Dearborn County
Chamber of Commerce
honored several businesses
and individuals at their annual
dinner. The Chamber also
awarded the 2018 Lauren Hill
Award.
The Large Business of the
Year award was presented to
Ivy Tech Community Col-
lege. The Small Business of
the Year was given to Janet’s
Diner located in Dillsboro.
The DC Young Profession-
als Award was given to the
Hidden Valley Golf Club. Fi-
nally, the AIM/Young Profes-
sionals of Dearborn County
Person of the Year was given
to Andrea Ewan. The Lauren
Hill Award went to Kevin
Wang. Top Quality Build-
ing Products, Inc. was noted
for fifty years of business in
Dearborn County.

On a Fall Saturday morn-
ing, former respiratory
and cardiac patients, their
families and friends, and
Highpoint Health physicians,
staff and supporters, joined
the public to participate in
the 5K Heart & Lung Health
Run/Walk. Participants
walked or ran on Dearborn
Trails between Lawrenceburg
and the trail’s bridge over
Tanner’s Creek. Participants

volunteers from Highpoint
Health, Ivy Tech and Law-

event.

to welcome and thank all who
participated.
Since 2010, the Highpoint
Health Cardiac & Pulmonary
Rehabilitation Department
has sponsored the Run/Walk
in partnership with the City
of Lawrenceburg and the
Lawrenceburg Conservancy
District.
Although no race certifica-
tion is offered, many par-
ticipants run
the course.
