The Future is Bright: This past fiscal year has been nothing short of miraculous and amazing! The new facility has given us so much more space to carry out our programs. Our presence in the community is growing, with individuals stopping by for the first time to learn more about who we are and what we do. Our board of directors, staff and volunteers continue to be awestruck by our spacious new facility as it allows for all our programs to expand and flourish. God’ s word tells us in Matthew 5:14-16:“ We are a city set upon a hill and are to let our light shine.” We certainly believe God is allowing our light to shine brighter than even before. THANK YOU for being a part of the illumination!

ICAA: The 2015-16 school year was one of growth, as well as accountability. Since the year 2000 the LLH has been accredited by the International Christian Accrediting Association( ICAA). Our five-year site visit was held in February of 2016. ICAA brings to the LLH the outside witness of inspection and responsibility. Our accreditation allows us the opportunity to review our standards and assure we are on track with our mission. According to the scripture in Acts 2:22( NIV) even Jesus was accredited.“ Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.” The ICAA site review team assessed our performance in 5 key areas of operation and we passed with high scores. We are excited to receive accreditation through 2021 and are looking forward to another visit this coming spring due to a“ substantive change” which took place when we moved into our new expanded facility in August.

Let’ s Finish This Tulsa: As an update on our renovation project, we are blessed to have the Tulsa community continuing to help us work towards our goal of $ 2.5 Million to remodel our older building. With this renovation we will have four enlarged classrooms, a second therapy gym, a multipurpose room, newly remodeled kitchen and a volunteer break area. We are delighted to report we currently have raised $ 975,000 of this goal. Although the waiting list continues to grow, once the renovation is completed, we will be able to serve approximately 140 children under our roof. You are making a difference in helping us meet the needs of these precious children.
