Towing Vehicle accessories - Relay
A very important part when fitting any accessories to your vehicle is fitting a relay to ensure maximum output and minimal stress on wiring. We have attached a wiring diagram for fitment of a relay to assist you with this. Some relays may consist of two number 87 lugs, they are both the same, please check to not overload the relay in this case e.g.; 2 spotlights fitted on each lug no87.
You can purchase a relay at any auto parts shop at about R50 each they come in different makes but remain the same only the voltage may differ from time to time. Enjoy the DIY.
