This article should be read by all players either wanting to play college baseball or playing now. It shows the true determination and love for the game. Every coach wants players like this on their team. He is a great example of a TEAM PLAYER.

“Nick has been a tremendous addition to our program and we are very honored to have him be part of our family. He brings a unique perspective with his military background that exemplifies what discipline, work ethic and loyalty truly look like. His work in the bullpen, help with our daily operations and the energy he brings to our team daily have made a great impact. The commitment, passion and selflessness with which he lives provide a true example for our players to model themselves after. We are very thankful for Nick’s commitment to our country and the Wright State Baseball program.”

Q: What was your biggest challenge during your college search while in high school?

A: The hardest part of finding out what college to go to was figuring out who would want me as far as baseball and then mix that with the cost of the school. I had few colleges interested in me during the recruitment times, and those schools were normally the more expensive ones. I also was wanting to go into chemical engineering, many schools did not offer this major, leaving me with minimal opportunity. With these components adding up, finding the “right” college was not a simple task.
