Serrano was the only player in the game to have multiple hits, going 2-for-3 with a RBI and a run scored.
Colorado Mines struck first in the top of the third inning, scoring two runs. Colorado Mesa answered back
with a pair of runs in the bottom half of the fourth inning.
The Orediggers responded by scoring a single run in the top
of the fifth. The Mavericks answered back with an RBI
single by Bligh Madris.
Dakota Behr earned the win in relief and moved his record
to 2-1 on the season. Behr pitched the final 2.1 innings and
allowed just two hits while striking out five.
