TCU Completes Sweep; Tops WVU 5-0

5/3/15: MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - An outstanding performance on the mound from Alex Young and
opportunistic offense helped No. 4 TCU to a 5-0 win over West Virginia on Sunday. TCU sweeps its third
Big 12 series this season and has now won six straight Big 12 games to improve to 13-5 in league play.
Young (9-2) was outstanding on the mound, firing eight scoreless innings of three-hit baseball. He faced
more than three batters in an inning just three times. Twice a lead-off walk was erased on a double play
and once he caught the runner trying to steal to end the inning. Trey Teakell allowed two hits and
struck out two in his lone inning of work to preserve the shutout.…read more
