Views are only the beginning at three75 bar + kitchen There’s a new bar in town with views that overlook the expansive Barossa ranges and it is the place to take in the best sunsets in Seppeltsfield. The owners of The Louise Barossa, Jim and Helen Carreker have taken inspiration from their own street address in the region’s most iconic stretch of road, Seppeltsfield Road, to create three75. It builds on the exceptional quality and service The Louise and Appellation is renowned for and offers a new destination for locals and visitors. Emma Welling, director of sales and marketing, said preparations for the new venture have been exciting and the home- grown team look forward to meeting the needs of locals particularly those in food, hospitality and tourism industries. “This sprouted up organically,” said Emma. “We had always wanted to have a bar... we offered casual food, burgers and drinks for our guests on their second or third night at The Louise and that’s existed for more than 10 years.” Emma said word spread fast of the great wine list and the burgers but it was soon realised as the interest grew, the space became limited. “We are rapt, this is something that the team has been looking forward to for a long time,” said Emma. “Jim and Helen had plans to build this bar for a number of years and as the region becomes more vibrant and our locals and guests want something to do later in the evening, we needed to create a place where you can grab an excellent cocktail that’s still casual and approachable.” The finest produce coupled with the passion of head chef, Kyle Johns, combines to offer a menu for the lovers of a great cheeseburger and fries or a side of fried mac n cheese with a classic wedge salad. “The brief for us has been comfort food with the flavour turned up,” said Emma. Emma said the beef burger has been a staple with the locals but the four main burgers are likely to change and are complete with “add ons”, including the option to double up. Kyle beams with pride of the menu that has been created and there’s a few surprises in there too. His creative licence will deliver a menu that has more than a burger, with a range of other dishes on the menu including half a Portuguese chicken complete with its own bottle of peri peri sauce. Knife and fork are optional for this one. The sides are also worthy of a mention, not just your average salad and chips, according to Kyle there’s plenty of interesting options. And if that’s not enticing enough wait until you see the dessert menu which may appear simple but there is a guarantee of maximum flavour. three75 will trade seven nights a week from 4 p.m. until late. It’s a chance for friends and colleagues to pop in after work for some great cocktails, access an exclusive wine list and the opportunity to experience seriously flavourful comfort food. General manager, Kylie Mansfield says three75 is a place for locals to take some time for themselves, to relax with a beer or cocktail and admire their beautiful valley. “Like the rest of The Louise and Appellation, three75 is a bar for grown-ups and kids over 10. We’re all about the luxury of making time for yourself - catching up with a friend after work or heading out for a long overdue date night, with your only worry fitting in another round of mac 'n' cheese bites." said Kylie. $1.4 million has been invested in the project but the views are priceless at the region’s newest after 4 p.m. destination, three75.
