W // 18 the forest T // 0 L // 2 Ladies earn 4th consecutive trip to the State Tournament For the last four years, our girl s varsity soccer team has been known as a huge powerhouse in the state of Texas. This group of girls have been playing together since they were seven. The way they connect with each other so well is not only a bond that is just on the soccer field, but off the field as well. They have overcame many adversities, and each year they come back stronger and better than the year before. This year they played in the State Championship game against Midlothian Herritage and lost in double overtime in the last twenty seconds of the game. Though their four consecutive trips to the UIL State Tournament did not end in their favor, the community has still rallied around the team and they have certainly left a legacy here at Jasper High School. 1.
