2 | The Banda Log 2020 - 2021

Whilst this year has seen further substantial disruption to school life at the hands of coronavirus , I remain full of admiration and appreciation for a community of resilient children , positively focussed staff and a hugely supportive parent body . It is this community that makes The Banda the very special place that it is today .

Lessons have continued , online and in school . Sport , alongside many fun and exciting activities and challenges has taken place . 21 scholarships have been gained by our Year 8 cohort and the true spirit of the school has been continually evident .

I do hope the following pages will remind us all of the fun and enjoyment that has been had this academic year , whilst we humbly remember the devastating impact COVID-19 has had on so many people ’ s lives throughout the world .
