A TRIBUTE FROM A FORMER HEADMASTER:
M.D. DICKSON
"She will be remembered by thousands of pupils and parents. In addition, she will be remembered and lamented by so many staff. Although she came across as the 'scary' member of staff, she played a huge part in the development of so many colleagues who had the pleasure to work with her. She had indeed behind her guise a wonderful sense of humour that not everyone saw. She was a caring and supportive member of the staff room."
A FITTING POEM
"Now I've seen my last sunset,
And the aches and pains have left me,
Just be pleased I'm resting now,
reflecting on my times with you.
You all knew me in different ways,
your memories all mingled with mine,
A portrait of a life that will not fade,
Until your last sunset comes around."
“A shout out to Ms Gumoes.” – Lindsay Watling
