WELCOME
It remains a pleasure to welcome you to the seventh edition of the Alumni magazine. In this edition we are proud to introduce this year's Headboy and Headgirl (pictured above).
Recognising achievement we remain proud to share your accomplishments as well as our own - where we were bestowed the Grade of 'Outstanding' in every area in our October 2017 UK Inspection Report. An unenviable task to live up to but one we shall undertake, as did our current Under 11's and 1st XI cricket from 1983-84, as you will see in the following pages.
Sharing clips of newspaper images and photographs from 'tour's within Africa in the 1980's including locating Dougie Arnold's memoirs of the 1988 Zimbabwe tour are shared as well as generational similarities 'Across the wicket,' so-to-speak!
We are thrilled to share some of Martin Aveling's wildlife art and share two fond and long-serving farewells at the end of the past academic year.
