The Banda Alumni Magazine | Page 2

FROM THE HEADMISTRESS
The past few months has seen an overwhelming flurry of change and uncertainty that has affected us all . Grappling with remote learning has been an interesting challenge , for both teachers and pupils , but it is a challenge that everyone has embraced with great composure . And on many occasions , in true Banda Spirit , it has been great fun . You might have seen some of the fun if you follow us on social media !
As we prepare for reopening in a staggered phase this edition is a mixture of looking back on some highlights during the past twelve months - at the school and amongst our alumni . I am very proud to hear of more accomplishments : recognising another potential Olympian , learning what growing up in Kenya can lead to and savouring some photographic memories from the first school plays : Tom Sawyer in 1969 and Macbeth in 1970 , with thanks to David Boyd .
Please keep The Banda spirit , your memories and stories coming - we love to hear from you !
