father passed away after

business," Ron recalls. "I

open on Thanksgiving and

host my family for dinner.

"After my father died, I felt

that I needed some time to

mourn," Ron says. "So I

closed the deli, and in his

memory it has been closed

every Thanksgiving since.

"He was a warm and

gentle man, and he loved his

family and life," Ron says

about his father.

"He taught me to be loyal,

to work hard, and to do the

best possible job you can do

every day."
