Experience is always a good indication. If they have spend a lot more time representing a plaintiff, and you’re a defendant, they may not be the best person for you. Many times you’ll end up speaking with a partner, when a less experienced associate may actually be doing the majority of the work. Working With A Lawyer • Once you’ve decided on a lawyer, you’ll want to make sure you have a clear agreement with them that details who is paying for what, and when. More than that, you’ll want to be sure that they know exactly what outcome you’re hoping for. That is going to be the key factor when they decide how to pursue your case.
