Damages Covered under Compensation

Here is a list of things that can be covered under the losses section
of a personal injury claim.
Any financial loss occurred as a direct result from the case
Damages to your personal belongings, automobiles or home
Pain and Suffering as a result of the claim
Loss of your own personal enjoyment is also considered in a claim.
The state of Ohio does however hold in place a number of
limitations regarding damages occurred during an injury
claim. Some of those limitations are as follow:
• For non-economic damages that are occurred during a claim, the
plaintiff is limited to $250,000 or 3x the amount of economic damages.
Whichever of the numbers is greater is what is available to a plaintiff
• During a medical malpractice case, the limitations is set to $350,000
• In the case of a catastrophic injury whereas the brain is injured or a
spinal injury, the limitations set forth may not be applied.
