The Atlanta Bar Foundation Ends its Summer of Fun by Serving Up Fun on Tap
The Atlanta Bar Foundation ’ s Summer of Fun fundraising series ended with its last event , Fun on Tap , which was held at Steady Hand Beer Co . on August 12 , 2021 . The event was coordinated by the Atlanta Bar ’ s SideBar , an informal information mentoring program that connects seasoned and younger lawyers for networking and fellowship through educational programs and social events .
Guests sampled various brews during the night amid a safe gathering of old and new friends . Atlanta Bar Foundation Immediate Past President Betsy C . Griswold shared , “ The Atlanta Bar Foundation , the charitable arm of the Atlanta Bar , does so much good … no , make that great work in our community from awarding grants to non-profits to the Police Scholarship Fund . Events like the Summer of Fun and The Legal Runaround fuel the ability of the Foundation to give consistently and give generously . Thanks to all who have been a part of these efforts .”
SideBar Co-Chair Jerico J . Phillips ( Kimball International Inc .) invited members to apply for the 2021-22 SideBar Class . “ The Atlanta Bar Association is known for providing excellent leadership opportunities in the legal community . SideBar is a great program for genuine networking and social events like Fun on Tap !
