Staff Member Announced
Ericka Henderson has joined the staff of the Atlanta Bar Association in the new role of
Publications & Communications. Ericka earned a degree in Business Administration,
with a concentration in marketing, from Georgia State University. She has over three
years of experience in working with associations, having previously managed marketing
initiatives, conference programming, and communications for two culinary associations.
More recently, she worked as the marketing manager for a telecommunications company
in website management, design and marketing initiatives. “Ericka has done an exceptional
job of acclimating to the Bar’s constantly moving schedule, and brings polished design and
marketing skills to showcase the Association’s work and programs. Her genial personality
has been a great addition to our staff,” stated Executive Director Terri Beck.
“I am looking forward to being an integral part of designing and coordinating the various
publications and promotional pieces for the Atlanta Bar. The staff and members have been very welcoming, and I am
happy to be part of the team,” shared Ericka. She is most excited about working with Section members and leading
production work on The Atlanta Lawyer.
Ericka’s father retired from the Air Force after more than 20 years of service, and shortly afterwards the family settled
in Georgia. She has lived in Georgia for over 13 years, but still calls Virginia home. In her spare time, Ericka trains in
traditional Okinawan karate, reads about graphic design trends, and spends time with her family.
