A Courthouse Line XI
“Love conquered all” at the eleventh installment of the Atlanta
Bar’s Courthouse Line musical parody comedy series at the
Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University on
May 1 and 2. “A Courthouse Line XI – North Side Story”
featured a West Side Story romance between adversaries in
a medical malpractice case before a judge who thought he
was James Bond.
Many crazy characters, including Dr. Putin, Dr. Clinton,
Rodney Dangerfield (turned hairygodfather), and Dalt

Whizney, the law firm’s ethics partner, and a slew of fairy
tale characters kept the audiences in stitches. Fine singing
performances and a surprise appearance by a roller figure
skater and Olaf from “Frozen” drew sustained applause
from the receptive audiences, who, in the words of one
patron, “laughed their butts off all night!” The show raised
approximately $50,000 for the Atlanta Bar Foundation’s pro
bono legal services grant program.
