foundation Law Firms and Bar Leaders Support Atlanta Bar Foundation 25th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign King & Spalding LLP is the Platinum Lead Contributor with Gift of $25,000 Michael B. Terry and William M. Ragland, Jr. are Lead Individual Contributors as “Pillars of the Foundation” To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Atlanta Bar Foundation has launched a $175,000 fundraising campaign. Funds contributed to the campaign will provide increased support to Atlanta Bar Association pro bono and community projects, such as the Summer Law Internship Program, Minority and Diversity Clerkship Program, and Police Scholarship Program, among others. With its 25th Anniversary Campaign, the Foundation is taking a giant leap forward to achieve a greater charitable impact while also striving to improve the image of the legal profession throughout the community. The 25th Anniversary Campaign is focused on financial support from law firms and bar leaders. The Foundation is very pleased to announce that King & Spalding LLP is the Platinum Lead Contributor of the 25th Anniversary Law Firm Campaign with a generous gift of $25,000! Upon making this pivotal gift, King & Spalding challenged other major Atlanta law firms to match its contribution. Mixson & Elmore LLP, Fellows LaBriola LLP and Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC. Other contributions are expected to be announced shortly. The 25th Anniversary Campaign also includes support from individual members of the Atlanta Bar Association. Atlanta Bar President Michael B. Terry of Bondurant, Mixson & Elmore LLP and Atlanta Bar Foundation President William M. Ragland, Jr. of Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice PLLC each have announced their lead contributions as Pillars of the Foundation. Sally Hogsette, Executive Director of the Atlanta Bar Foundation, has announced her lead contribution as a Pillar of the Profession. The Pillar Society of the Foundation represents the highest level contributions to the campaign. The Foundation is actively seeking contributions from bar members, and other generous contributions are expected to be announced shortly. Funds from the 25th Anniversary Campaign will allow the Foundation to provide key support to on-going charitable initiatives of the Atlanta Bar Association, while also supporting other worthy pro bono legal service providers that serve the Atlanta community.
