Regina Thomas United States Bankruptcy Court [email protected] E ach year, the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Bar’s Bankruptcy Section bestows the David Pollard Award to “a member of the Atlanta Bar Association who best exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in the bankruptcy practice.” The Pollard Award will be given at a luncheon on May 14, 2015 at the Capital City Club. This is the twenty-second year the award has been presented. Prior to the luncheon, there will be a two hour CLE presentation on significant bankruptcy cases pending before the Supreme Court. The 41st Annual Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute will take place March 26 -28, 2015 at the InterContinental Buckhead. This nationally recognized seminar brings the leading judges, professors and practitioners to Atlanta each spring. During lunch on Friday, March 28, there will be a short program honoring the Hon. Robert E. Brizendine, recently retired from the bench after 20 years of outstanding service to the federal judiciary. Judge Brizendine’s official portrait will be unveiled at that time.
