by working to “dispel the fear of our legal system; make
lawyers, and the law, visible to the American public; and
address structural barriers like cost, delay, and complexity

A short film documenting the illustrious history of the Atlanta
Bar Association from 1888 to present day provided the crowd
with a pictorial history of the Bar’s progress and achievements.
You can view the film here. At the end of the luncheon,
President Wade Watson led a champagne toast to salute the
men and women of the Atlanta Bar and encourage them into
the future. Each attendee was given a special edition 125th
Anniversary Celebration etched bottle of wine from the Atlanta
Bar as a commemorative gift.
