pro bono march

Testimonials:
georgia appleseed seeks to increase the legal capacity in our state to handle
heir property cases for low and moderate income families and the communities in
which they live. the march pro bono madness has allowed georgia appleseed to
train more than 60 attorneys, which constitutes a significant increase in capacity
in our state. Advocates and local officials around the state generally consider the
problem of 'clearing title' to heir property to be impossible to solve because of the
cost of attorney time and out of pocket expenses. the more attorneys we train to
handle these cases pro bono, the more resources these families and communities
will have at their disposal.
