LRIS BOARD OF TRUSTEES
From the Board
We asked each Atlanta Bar Board "What is your
favorite summer cocktail/drink?"
My favorite Summer drink is an ice cold, lime
flavored Perrier.
Hon. JaDawnya C. Baker,
Atlanta Municipal Court
In the summer, I usually visit my hometown of
New Orleans. I enjoy going to the drive thru
daiquiri shop (which is perfectly legal in New
Orleans) and trying whatever peach flavored
concoction is on the menu. Peach daiquiris
can be made with or without alcohol. The recipe is as
follows:
Peach Daiquiri:
• 2 ounces light rum (For a virgin daiquiri, use apple juice).
• 1/2 peach, fresh, peeled or canned
• 1 tablespoon lime juice
• 1 -2 teaspoon(s) sugar
• 1 cup crushed ice
Combine all ingredients in an electric blender and blend
until the contents have the consistency of snow. Serve
immediately in a large saucer champagne or similar
glass, with short straws. Enjoy!

Ever since I learned that Bombay Sapphire will
not freeze when left in the freezer, my favorite
cocktail has been a Martini, up with olives. If I
am engaging in outdoor activities, I am more
likely to have a beer, my preference these
days being Corona Premier.

Moscow Mule.

Bombay sapphire is certainly a go-to. However,
I like it on ice with 1/3 malibu and a splash of
ginger ale. I call it summer breeze.

me by someone else.”
