ATLANTA BAR FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
From the Board
We asked each Atlanta Bar Board "What is your
favorite summer cocktail/drink?"
I love to make my own smoothies. To taste
– strawberries, bananas, and any other fruit
in the house, plain yogurt, almonds and ice.
Spin it in the juicer. Unbelievably awesome
and so simple. By the way, do not ruin it with
kale – ugggggh!

Strawberry daiquiri! Do not laugh; I have con-
verted many a “hard liquor” drinker with this
girlie pink frozen delight. Recipe? Put a whole
bunch of dark rum (1 cup? Two?) in your
blender and add a pack of frozen strawberries
in heavy syrup (still frozen). I put about a quarter cup of
triple sec or Cointreau for sweetness and maybe another
quarter to half cup of apple juice. Fill blender with ice,
and blend until smooth. Serve in a pretty glass.

Diet Coke -- a year round favorite!

Ice cold Coke – winter, spring, summer, and
fall!

My go to non-alcoholic drink is an Arnold
Palmer with unsweetened ice tea. Mint Julep
is one of my favorite alcoholic drinks in the
summer – seems to go well with watching
summer sports like horse racing, golf and ten-
nis, and is delicious and refreshing!
