ongratulations on a job well done to Beth Rogers of
the Rogers Law Offices, the outgoing Chair of the
Solo Practitioner/Small Firm Section! During Beth’s
time as our Chair from 2014 to 2015, the SPSF Section
maintained its aggressive slate of monthly breakfasts at The
Buckhead Club and monthly lunches at Gordon Biersch.
Finding interesting, engaging and compelling speakers and
topics for more than twenty meetings is no easy task. (Indeed, it feels downright daunting to me at the moment!) But,
Beth and her indefatigable husband and the firms marketing director, Scott Rogers, handled the task with remarkable

Our year is off to a great start with our co-sponsorship of the
Atlanta Bar Summer Law Internship Program and the Kick-Off
Breakfast, which took place on June 19, as well as our cosponsorship of LawJam 2015: 6th Annual Battle of the Atlanta
Lawyer Bands, which was help on June 27, 2015.
Thanks again to Beth Rogers and for all those who made
2014-2015 such a success. On behalf of the SPSF Board,
we look forward to another great year at the SPSF Section,
aka “Atlanta’s Largest Law Firm.”
In addition to excellent speakers and
topics, in 2014 and 2015, the SPSF
membership enjoyed several collegial
get-togethers, such as the Atlanta Bar
Beer and Bites Social at 5 Seasons
Brewing Westside, as well as a night of
bowling at The Painted Pin, an upscale
boutique bar and entertainment venue.

Tasting was a hit again this past ye "
