TIP Celebrates Its Exceptional Volunteers
O
n the afternoon of April 25th, TIP once again welcomed
numerous volunteers and supporters to join the staff
and Board for its Annual Volunteer Appreciation
Luncheon. Honoring the exceptional work of dedicated
volunteers, TIP was proud to share the success stories of
volunteers and their clients as well as the lessons learned
through various volunteer experiences. The many successes
and accomplishments attributable to the Project over the
years are due to the great devotion and determination of TIP
volunteers.
TIP has many reasons to celebrate the outstanding work
and commitment of all the volunteers, but most notably, we
honored nine amazing individuals for their exceptional efforts
over the last year. This year's honorees were: Elizabeth
Brown, Fred Bryant, Angelia Duncan, Natasha Gadsden,
Brian Harvel, Hilary Keith, James Kitces, Cecilia Oh,
Mildred Towns and Laurance Warco.
In addition to its volunteer honorees, TIP also recognized four
individuals who have shown tremendous support to TIP over
the years. Special recognition was given to Laronda Arnold,
Corey Bryant, Mary Lynne McInnis and Diane O'Steen for
their years of service to TIP, its programs and the families who
benefit from them.
TIP would like to thank everyone who attended this special
event and helped us as we honored our exceptional volunteers.
We would especially like to thank our premiere sponsor Bank
of America and supporters Bryan Cave, Sutherland, Robins
Kaplan and Jones Day. Special thanks to TIP's Volunteer
Committee members: Adwoa Awotwi, Jennifer Meyerowitz,
Cecilia Oh, Adwoa Seymour and Laurance Warco.
