he Atlanta Bar Association and the Atlanta Bar Foundation participated in the Atlanta Interagency Law Enforcement
Appreciation and Memorial Service to honor law enforcement and pay tribute to officers who have fallen in the line
of duty on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in Woodruff Park. Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) and the Atlanta Downtown
Improvement District (ADID) hosted the event. Interagency Law Enforcement includes 11 public agencies who meet monthly
in close collaboration and partnerships to serve the Downtown area. They are: Atlanta Police Department, MARTA Police
Department, Georgia State University Police Department, Georgia Tech Police Department, Georgia World Congress Center
Authority Public Safety Department, Georgia State Patrol Capitol Division, Federal Protective Service DHS, National Park
Service, Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Fulton County Police, Emory University Police.
