The purpose of the award is to give public recognition to individual members who have demonstrated distinctive and sustained service to the Atlanta Bar Association. Recognition is not reserved for the older lawyer in honor of decades of prior service, but may be conferred upon the younger lawyer whose service to the Association is of a distinctive and durable quality.
