Baker Donelson
Baker Donelson announces the addition of three new
associates to its Georgia offices: Sabrina L. Atkins, Ian P.
Calhoun and Charles "Chase" W. Ruffin. They are three
of nineteen new associates to join Baker Donelson. Also,
Scott N. Sherman, shareholder in Baker Donelson's Atlanta
office, has been re-nominated to serve a two-year term on
the board of directors of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL)'s
Southeastern Region. He is a current board member and
previously served on the Legislative Affairs Committee. The
ADL fights anti-Semitism and bigotry though information,
education, legislation and advocacy.
Carlock, Copeland and Stair
Carlock, Copeland and Stair Partners Wade K. Copeland and
Peter Werdesheim were recognized as two of Georgia's top
attorneys in Georgia Trend’s annual Legal Elite list, which
appears in the magazine's December 2013 issue. Georgia
Trend compiles the Legal Elite list by tallying ballots that are
sent to every practicing lawyer in the state. Copeland was
selected by his peers as a top attorney in Personal Injury, while
Werdesheim was recognized in the General Practice/Trial Law
area. The firm also congratulates Andrew W. Countryman,
Jackson H. Daniel, III, Amanda K. Dudgeon, Brent A. Meyer

Hintz Rumfelt to membership in the firm. Ms. Rumfelt
concentrates her practice in the area of complex commercial

investigations and intellectual property matters. Ms. Rumfelt
received her J.D. from Emory University Law School in 2006
and her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill in 1998. Moreover, F. Donald Nelms, Jr. has joined Miller
& Martin PLLC in the Atlanta office where he will continue his
practice in the areas of commercial and real estate lending,
corporate transactions and real estate. Mr. Nelms received
his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1980
and a B.S. from the University of Virginia in 1974. Mr. Nelms
comes to Miller & Martin from Bryan Cave LLP.
Walter L. Booth, Jr., joins Stites & Harbison's Business
Litigation, Construction and Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy
Service Groups. He earned his J.D. from Mercer University
Walter F. George School of Law, Macon, Ga., in 2013. In law
school, he was a member of the Mock Trial team, Student
Government, and Southern Region Director of Corporate
Relations of the National Black Law Students Association.
