2012 Eunice L. Mixon Award
Robin Frazer Clark, President of the State Bar of Georgia,
presented Diane O’Steen, retiring Executive Director of
the Atlanta Bar Association, with the 2012 Eunice L. Mixon
Award during the State Bar of Georgia’s Board of Governor’s
meeting on Saturday, January 12, 2013. The award is in
recognition of O’Steen’s lifetime contributions to the State Bar
to promo te a better understanding of the importance of the
rule of law, encouraging greater respect for the law and the
courts, and exemplifying a sense of responsibility and public
service in her community and the State of Georgia. Shown
with O’Steen (middle) and Clark (right) is Heather Olsen,
O’Steen’s granddaughter.
