Atticus Finch CLE
There is a special CLE program –“ Atticus Finch: Who was he? Who is he? Thoughts on an American Hero and Local Politics”– that will take place on March 2( 6pm to 8pm) at Emory Law School. It will feature Professor Joseph Crespino( Jimmy Carter Professor of History at Emory University), Joseph Beck( with Kilpatrick Townsend), and Judge Richard Story, who will give the closing argument as Atticus, a role he has played in a local theatre production of“ To Kill A Mockingbird.” This program( one hour of professionalism CLE credit) opens with a wine and cheese reception and promises to be an engaging evening. Pro Bono March Madness
In March, our Pro Bono March Madness program will host 17 CLE events. Take the time to look over the varied programs listed on our website to see which programs may be of interest you.
All profits will benefit the Summer Law Internship Program( SLIP) which is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year. It will be a fun night – and all for a good cause.
Bocce Ball League
And for something new and different, the Bar is rolling out a Bocce Ball League! Signups and team formation are here. The matches will be held at Empire State South on Wednesday evenings.
Our annual meeting will close out the year and will take place on May 23.

Casino Night
In April, we will host a social night for our members with a Casino Night, to be held at 200 Peachtree.
