current “seasonal fish fillet.” At first, the
“seasonal fish fillet” was salmon. No harm,
no foul.
Then, one fateful day, the “seasonal fish
fillet” became tuna. While this does not
sound like a huge deal to the normal person
(and it probably should not be a huge deal),
it is sad for someone who orders salmon
every time they visit the restaurant.
When I arrived at the restaurant on that
day, I was greeted by a familiar server who
informed me of the tuna issue immediately.
Honestly, I was reeling from the news, but I
was going to roll with it. I had been coming
to this restaurant for years, and I was not
going to lose all of that over one night.
Then my server informed me that he knew
I was going to be coming in, and he saved
me salmon (presumably from catering),
and I would be able to eat salmon that
night. I think that is when my infatuation
became love.
This is a truly impressive story of a
restaurant’s devotion to its customers: I
was served special salmon, which was not
on the menu, for months until the salmon
finally came back. That is when I knew that
Endive loved me as much as I loved it.
Recommendation
Endive other than Endive is a great
restaurant that you should visit. At the
beginning, you will go because you love
the food. But as your relationship matures,
you will go because you love the people.
People will greet you at the door by name
and make sure you have a great experience
every single time.
