On December 16 , 2022 , the Atlanta Bar Foundation Grants Celebratoin Luncheon was graciously hosted by Wade Malone of Nelson Mullins , and saw $ 200,000 in grants awarded to many of the
great legal nonprofits serving our community . this is the 12th year of the Grant Program and the 7th year NMRS has hosted the Grant Celebration Luncheon . Recipients included Atlanta Legal Aid , the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation , the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network , the Truancy Intervention Project , Georgia Justice Project , Gideon ' s Promise , Latin American Association , and Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta . Past President Rob Wellon summarized the gathering aptly : " This is my favorite event of the year ."
