In the Community
T
he Atlanta Bar Association is a strong community partner through its leadership, pro bono
participation and financial support of community programs that provide both learning
opportunities to aspiring lawyers and also supply charitable services to those in need.
The Summer Law Internship Program, Minority & Diversity Clerkship Program, and Atlanta
Santa Program are a few of the ongoing endeavors of the Atlanta Bar.
The philanthropic arm of the Bar, the Atlanta Bar Foundation, lends its financial support not
only to Atlanta Bar programs, but also to organizations such as the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers
Foundation, Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc., Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta, and Truancy
Intervention Project, which aids them in providing access to justice and pro bono services to
the community at large. Through individual and collective efforts, the Atlanta Bar Association
is truly an organization of “Lawyers Who Serve.”
