Shah The Shah Law Firm T he Solo Practitioner/ Small Firm Section of the Atlanta Bar Association has had an amazing year helping solo practitioners, small firms and the greater legal community improve their legal practice through the different events and activities we have hosted. We have provided informative sessions on setting up your own law firm, technology, collections, office solutions and networking. We have had great speakers, such as Judge Dax Lopez from DeKalb County State Court, come to share their knowledge with attorneys and law students. We look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events, which include our Annual Wine-Tasting Event and a trip to the Comedy Club for some great laughs. However, 8 THE ATLANTA LAWYER December 2012 [email protected] what we are most excited about is our community service project at Project Open Hand on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 11:45 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Project Open Hand prepares, packages and delivers over 6,000 meals each day to homebound seniors and individuals with chronic and terminal illnesses. This community service event is open to all. So please save this date and look out for more information as we start the New Year.
