On July 9 , 2020 , Access Atlanta Bar : Summer Series presented its webinar , “ Welcome to Atlanta : Insider ’ s Guide to the City .” The speakers included : Jaime Green – Multiplatform Senior Producer at WPBA ; Tony Pairs - Managing Editor of Creative Loafing ; Betsy Riley - Editor in Chief of Atlanta Magazine ; and Nicole Smith – Arts & Entertainment Editor – AJC . Brooke French ( Kessler & Solomiany , LLC ), moderated the webinar and posed thoughtful questions regarding life in Atlanta .

After introducing themselves , the speakers provided well-rounded responses to Brooke ’ s questions which began with how each speaker came to reside in Atlanta . Pairs , a native of Atlanta , lives in Castleberry Hill and has worked for Creative Loafing on and off for several years . Green came to Atlanta after living in Washington , DC . Riley has lived in Atlanta for over 20 years . She started the home magazine section of the Atlanta Magazine and became editor about 3 years ago . Smith came to Atlanta from Cleveland and has now been here 25 years . She has been with the AJC for nearly five years .
The speakers were asked to discuss a few of their favorite things about Atlanta , which varied from the size of the city and the opportunities that it presents , to the acres and acres of green trees . The speakers unanimously agreed the best thing about the city is its diversity . The speakers spoke of appreciating the cosmopolitan nature of the city and the homegrown art scene . Another
