This is a photo of John Lewis and me taken the Thursday before the 1986 critical election that first made him a Congressman . This photo was taken at the Buckhead Business Association meeting where we had both just spoken . We were both Democratic nominees ; I was running for the House of Representatives for the 25th District , which ran north from Ansley Park into Buckhead .
