T
he 22nd Summer Law Internship Program came to
an end on Friday, July 18, 2014, with an Appreciation
Breakfast for Interns, Hosts and Sponsors hosted
by the State Bar of Georgia. Over 200 people were in
attendance. Over a six-week time span, a record 44 interns
from a record 30 schools interned for public interest groups,
private law firms, corporations and judges. During the
Summer Law Internship Program’s 22 years of existence,
over 500 internships have been made available to Atlanta’s
youth. The Interns attended weekly meetings where they
discussed legal issues past and present.
