Staff Spotlight Marketing and Communications: Brantly Watts Atlanta Bar members are probably familiar with Brantly Watts’ name as it is often seen on the various Bar and Section promotional materials that are distributed by the organization. Brantly helps oversee the Bar’s Communication and Marketing strategies, and her tasks include creating promotional announcements, graphic design, social media and website work. She can often be seen at the registration table at many Association events. Brantly received a BFA in Communication from Valdosta State University and is heavily involved in the Atlanta film community. She and her husband, Jon, operate Half Pint Productions, LLC, an Atlanta based film production company. “It is exciting for the Bar to have Brantly’s talents on our communications team to help bring a fresh face to the Bar’s communications. Brantly and Jon created a wonderful 125th Anniversary film last year to encapsulate the Bar’s rich history, which has provided us with a distinctive tool to showcase the Bar and its contributions to the community.” In 2012, Brantly premiered her highly anticipated, award-winning documentary feature at the Atlanta Film Festival. Recently, she was selected to serve as one of the Atlanta Film Festival’s first Filmmakers in Residence. Her newest film project is the Homespun Series, a curated series of short documentary films profiling the unique individuals and the local filmmakers that give Atlanta its distinctive culture.
