American Democracy and the Rule of Law:
Why Every Vote Matters!
The day will begin with special activities for high school students followed
by sessions for lawyers and the general public on the history of voting rights
in the United States, the challenges of maintaining a democracy around the
world, and a moderated panel discussion of prominent leaders.
(CLE credit available for afternoon sessions)
Speakers include: Brian Kemp, Georgia Secretary of State; Rev. Dr. C.T.
Vivian, Dean, Urban Institute at the Interdenominational Theological Center
and Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient; Sally Yates, United States
Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia; along with MANY other
prominent leaders in the area of voting rights.
