The Tiger Lite is a modernized Shakespeare rod. Shakepeare rod blanks of
old were mostly made of fibreglass.
These days they’ve gone towards graphite as with most modern rods. The
Tiger Lite is no exception. Doing so
brings down the weight of the rod. The
Tiger Lite is no feather but for a boat
type of rod, it is quite light.
