It was a hot and blistering day, My uncle
and I were fishing for hours with no
bites and to make our fishing worst, it
started to rain. We retreated to a nearby
bus stop to wear our disposable raincoats. After wearing them on, we were
excited hoping for a fish at least at that
spot.

We cast our lures out and on my first
cast I started getting hits but they were
not taking it hard, frustrated I kept trying until it stopped raining. Feeling
down with no fish landed we continue
our fishing by moving spots. When we
reached the spot, I cast a soft plastic
paddle tail out. That cast landed me my
personal best peacock bass in Singapore.
After releasing the beauty we continued
fishing for an hour.
